Missoula office joins Bicycle Friendly Business movement
League of American Bicyclists names WGM Missoula a Silver Bicycle Friendly Business
WGM is three for three on earning recognition as a Bicycle Friendly Business (BFB) from the League of American Bicyclists! Our Missoula office joins over 400 other businesses honored as a Silver BFB. Our Kalispell and Bozeman offices earned recognition as Bronze BFBs in recent years.
We’ve joined the movement of over 1,400 local businesses, government agencies, and Fortune 500 companies across the United States in transforming the American workplace to be more welcoming to our customers and employees who bike. So many more have joined or returned to the bike movement during the pandemic, and we are proud to support the health and well-being of our community by being more welcoming to people choosing to bike.
“Our commitment to sustainable commuting, especially in the past 1-2 years, has pushed employees to find common ground with each other and clients. We ride to work together using the shared-use paths that we helped design. We encourage community members to use those same paths, and year over year see increased use in Missoula.”
Our Missoula employees have access to a communal electric-assist bike (with size-inclusive safety equipment!) for running errands around town. We also have fleet vehicles available for those who prefer to bike to work but need to run to a job site during the workday. Clients also have access to our bike rack. In addition, our recent project work includes working with local agencies to promote Safe Streets for All as well as ADA improvements to walkways.

WGM's Missoula office joins a total of 1,480 current BFBs across the country, all united in a commitment to transform American workplaces to be more welcoming to customers and employees who bike. The Bicycle Friendly Business award recognizes an organization’s contributions over months and years to the movement to build a Bicycle Friendly America for everyone.
