The design includes sidewalks, boulevards, landscaping, curb and gutter, bike lanes, new pavement, and intersection improvements at Briggs and at the wye. The intersection improvements at the wye include a modern roundabout. Assuming a seven-month process for right-of-way acquisition, the project could be ready to bid in the fall of 2008, with a likely construction start in spring of 2009.
