The City of Missoula has contracted with WGM Group, Inc. for design and engineering services for the Miller Creek Road Improvements project.  Additionally, the City has contracted with DJ&A to complete property appraisals and right-of-way acquisition.  You will see activity on the road as our crews collect survey data, map utilities, and stake right-of-way lines.

The City of Missoula plans to reconstruct Miller Creek Road from Briggs Street to Mockingbird Way, and approximately 500 feet west of the wye on Lower Miller Creek Road. The design includes sidewalks, boulevards, landscaping, curb and gutter, bike lanes, new pavement, and intersection improvements at Briggs and at the wye. The intersection improvements at the wye include a modern roundabout. Assuming a seven-month process for right-of-way acquisition, the project could be ready to bid in the fall of 2008, with a likely construction start in spring of 2009.
