Top Honors for Woody and Dennis
Woody G. Germany, P.E. was elected as a Fellow to the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) at the ACEC 2008 Fall Conference in Montreal, Canada, October 21, 2008. WGM Group, Inc. has been a member of the ACEC for over 30 years.
As a Fellow, Mr. Germany becomes a member of an elite group of engineers who have made significant contributions to the engineering profession through their experience, knowledge and networking abilities. As a member of the ACEC, Mr. Germany was national Vice Chairman for 2 years, and is currently the Treasurer of Business Insurance Trust that works with the ACEC to provide business insurance opportunities to ACEC members.

Friday, November 7, 2008, at the 2008 Joint Engineering Conference in Helena, Montana, Woody G. Germany, P.E. and Dennis C. Muth, P.E. received Life Member awards from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). This award recognizes their membership and contributions to the ASCE for over 30 years.
Mr. Germany graduated with his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University, and has worked at WGM Group, Inc. in Missoula for over 30 years. He has been a member of the ASCE since 1966.
Mr. Muth received his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from
North Dakota State University, and has worked at WGM Group, Inc. for over 30 years. He has been a member of ASCE since 1965. He was Western Branch President of the Montana Section.
Jeremy W. Keene, P.E., passed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) exam in November, 2008.
Keene has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado. LEED accreditation recognizes a high level of knowledge and understanding of sustainable building practices, and the LEED Rating System. Keene's accreditation comes from the U.S. Green Building Council.
Kristin N. Smith, AICP, passed the Comprehensive Planning Examination administered by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) in November, 2008. Smith has an M.A. in Geography - Community and Environmental Planning from the University of Montana. This additional certification recognizes her leadership in professional land use planning and development, ethics and the standards of planning practice. The AICP accreditation comes from the American Planning Association (APA).
