Ravalli County Applying for Bridge Grant

Due to a deteriorating structure, the bridge spanning over Sweathouse Creek on Pleasant View Drive, northwest of Victor has been limited to an 8-ton capacity. The county will be seeking a grant to help pay for a new bridge.

pipes_sm.jpgA public meeting was held April 9 at 7 p.m. at the Farmer's State Bank located on 103 Main Street in Victor.

I agree that the bridge across Sweathouse should be replaced. I personally use the bridge a minimum of 5-6 times a day. Re-routing traffic up and down "Sand Hill" would not be safe alternative, in my opinion. Visiblity is severly limited and vehicles coming off of the hill are usually traveling at a speed greater than 25mph.
